What are your favorite hobbies (besides derby)?
I love playing sports, surfing, slack lining, rock climbing, camping, gardening, extreme slip and sliding and stand up paddle boarding with my dog Gus.
What are your pre-derby sports, if any?
Basketball, softball, soccer, and women’s football
Did you have any skating experience before joining derby?
I played inline hockey as a kid.
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I have written poems that were published.
How and why did you get involved in roller derby?
Tank (a fellow teammate) recruited me.
How long have you been involved with derby?
A year and 4 months
What’s the story behind your derby name? How did you pick yours?
Girls from the league picked it for me because when I first started I was a hazard. So the league would call me hazard but as I've progress and gotten better I am now referred to as jukes because of my juking skills.
Do you have a signature move?
Jukes for daysssss!!!!
What was the easiest move for you to learn? What was the hardest?
Easiest was transitions. Hardest was plows.

So many, can’t pick one!
What do you wish you’d known about derby before you joined?
That I would meet some of the most amazing people I've ever met.
In what ways has roller derby changed your life?
It has given me a positive community where I feel accepted, appreciated and loved.
What advice do you have for someone thinking about joining derby?
Do it!!! It's an amazing sport and community to be part of.
